Unidentified.There is no evidence that he was either the William Scoce who lived at Lupridge, Devon, and bef. 1397 m. Rose, wid. of John Herewodeshore (Reg. Stafford ed. Hingeston-Randolph, 327), or the namesake who, in 1424, lived at Brownston in Modbury in the same county (CPR, 1422-9, p. 313; C1/7/85, 9/172).
