It may have been this John Malley who, in association with Thomas Mal, chaplain, obtained in 1390 a 34-year lease from Maiden Bradley priory of one third of the manors of Kidderminster, Oldington and Comberton, in Worcestershire. He had become a citizen of Worcester by September 1402, by which date he was probably already holding office as city coroner, but on 3 Nov. following the sheriff of Worcestershire was instructed to replace him because he was insufficiently qualified.
