It may have been this Richard Hert who, in December 1397, was recorded as importing wine at Southampton; but the Richard Hert who, in 1469, was lessee of a tenement in Portsmouth, was doubtless a younger namesake of the MP.E122/138/25; Portsmouth Recs. ed. East, 499.
