SAVILL, Samuel (c.1700-63), of Colchester and Stisted Hall, Essex.

Returned for Colchester on petition in 1742, Savill voted against the Administration in all recorded divisions. His name was sent to the French Government in 1743 as a faithful supporter of the House of Stuart.AEM and D. Angl. 82, ff. 149-57; see under GRAY, Charles. He did not stand in 1747, and died 2 Apr. 1763.
