Henry Vincent, of an old Surrey family, who had represented the county, was brought in for Guildford at a by-election by the Onslows, to whom he was distantly related. He voted consistently with the Administration, but was not put up again in 1734. In 1741 he stood for Surrey, asking Walpole to recommend him to several influential persons in that county,28 Jan. 1741, Cholmondeley (Houghton) mss. but gave up before the poll. He died 20 Jan. 1757.
