FOWNES LUTTRELL, Francis (1756-1823).

Returned for Minehead with his elder brother, he voted with Government on Lowther’s motion, 12 Dec. 1781, but for peace with America, 27 Feb. 1782; and again with Government on the vote of no confidence, 15 Mar. On 18 Feb. 1783, he voted, together with his brother, for Shelburne’s peace preliminaries. In March he resigned his seat to Henry Beaufoy for £3,000.Eng. Hist. Docs. xi. 243.

He died 24 Apr. 1823.
