The belief that Woodcock married Sir Richard Redmayne’s* sister, Felicity (CP, viii. 271), is demonstrably untrue in the light of Austyn’s property settlements.

Since there is a consistent discrepancy of one year between the dates in the List and those given in the acct. bk. he is more likely to have held office in 1390/1.
