Upon succeeding his half-brother to the family estate in 1648, Hungerford held the ancestral seat, Farleigh Castle, as well as the manors of Little Somerford, Prinden, Chippenham, Rowde, Uphaven, Corston, Carsley, Iford, Dodford, and Chinerell.PROB11/273/36.
