Uvedale made a loan to the Crown of over £75 in January 1429. E401/720, m. 15. The land alienated to Southwick priory in 1439 belonged to him; he had enfeoffed Reynold, Lord de la Warre, and others including one of his own sons, Nicholas, of the properties concerned five years earlier, and was personally involved in effecting the transfer to the priory after they obtained the royal licence.
