Upon the election of Spicer to the Commons, Robert* and Richard Cuddon* of Dunwich stood surety for his attendance there. C219/14/5. It is not possible to link him with the Spicers living at Orford, Suffolk, in the late fourteenth and early fifteenth centuries or with the ‘Spycer’ admitted to Lincoln’s Inn before 1420.
