This MP is a very obscure figure and it is not clear whether it was he or a namesake who attested Maldon’s parliamentary election of 1455 and held the offices listed above. In early 1445, Thomas Salcokke failed to pursue a suit for trespass against John Tunnok in the borough court and a jury presented his wife in the same court in 1449 for breaching the local assize of ale.
