More may be added to the earlier biography.
The Lords Botreaux of Boscastle aside, Richard’s more important clients, for whom he acted in the Westminster law courts, also included the Arundells of Trerice, the St. Aubyns, the Nanfans, the violent Oliver Tregasowe, and Sir William Bodrugan*, who appointed him one of the attorneys charged with rendering his shrieval account at the Exchequer in 1427-8.
It was probably this William Richard who held property in the Arundell manor of Trembleath in north Cornwall, and he may have survived into the early years of Edward IV’s reign. He was probably succeeded there by his son (or another kinsman of the same name), who served as reeve at Ennis Caven (in St. Dennis) in 1488-9.
