MORLEY, William (1666-c.1694), of Halnaker, Boxgrove, Suss.

Chosen again at Arundel in 1690, Morley was listed as a Tory by Lord Carmarthen (Sir Thomas Osborne†) in March of that year, and in December 1690 as a probable supporter of Carmarthen in connexion with a possible attack in the Commons on his ministerial position. Morley remained an obscure back-bencher, with no speech on record. He died during this Parliament and was buried at Boxgrove on 4 Jan. 1694. Add. 5699, f. 154.
