BULLER, Anthony (1780-1866), of 3 Lincoln’s Inn Old Buildings, Mdx. and Pound, Devon.

After being called to the bar Buller, whose uncle Sir Francis Buller was a judge, practised as an equity draftsman at Lincoln’s Inn and on the western circuit. He was returned for West Looe on the family interest; he was listed a government supporter and his general conduct in the division lobby bore this out, though no speech is known. He supported Catholic relief 1813-15. In March 1816 he received his reward as an Indian judge, though ‘it is believed he never took his seat on the Madras bench’.
