Lord Belfast was returned by his father for Carrickfergus and subsequently for Belfast. He supported government, but no speech is known in this period and only one vote, for the foreign enlistment bill, 10 June 1819. He died 20 Oct. 1883.AAdd. 40298, f. 5.
