COLLYER, Benjamin (d.1746), of Ruckholts, Essex.

Collyer, a merchant and brother-in-law of Robert Knight, the cashier of the South Sea Company, bought the manor of Ruckholts in 1720.Morant, Essex, i. 25. Returned for Grimsby in 1722, he did not stand again. He died 19 Nov. 1746.
