DOUGLAS, William (d.1747), of Kirkness, Kinross.

Descended from the earls of Morton, Douglas was returned for his county as a Whig in 1715. No votes of his are recorded, nor did he stand again. During the war of the Austrian succession he served in Flanders, where he died, 5 Aug. 1747.
