HALL, Charles (1690-1743), of Kettlethorpe, Lincs.

Hall, whose grandfather had acquired Kettlethorpe by marriage in the mid-seventeenth century, successfully contested Lincoln as a Tory in 1727, voting consistently against the Administration. He did not stand again, in 1734 supporting his kinsman, Coningsby Sibthorp.Letters and Pprs. Banks Fam., ed. Hill (Lincoln Rec. Soc. xlv), 156.
