STEPHENSON (STEPHENS, STEVENS), John, of Hythe, Kent.

In 1571 the Hythe corporation accepted the lord warden’s nominee for one seat, but refused him a second and elected Stephenson, a fishmonger. The last reference found to him is dated 1592.Vis.
