Weston served as a juror at inquisitions post mortem held at Cricklade in 1364 and 1374, at Highworth in 1375 and at Swindon in 1375 and 1376. On occasion, he stood surety for the attendance in Parliament of Cricklade’s burgesses-elect, doing so for John Andrew, elected in 1381, 1382 (May) and 1383 (Feb.), and for John Court, elected in 1384 (Nov.). At Michaelmas 1387 he acted briefly as a feoffee on behalf of Robert Cherlton, a substantial landowner, for a settlement of property in the Malmesbury area.
