Eton 1760; Magdalen, Oxf. 1766. m. 7 May 1776, Lady Charlotte Hill, da. of Wills, 1st Earl of Hillsborough, 2s. suc. fa. 23 Sept. 1756; and uncle as 3rd Baron Talbot 27 Apr. 1782; cr. Earl Talbot 3 July 1784; suc. to Chetwynd estates in Staffs. on the; d. of his mother 20 Jan. 1785.
