Hingeston-Randolph, 232), but although it is certain that the MP’s wife was named Joan (JUST 1/1513 m. 58) it is possible that this dispensation may have been for John Lake ‘of Linkinhorne’ (Cornw.), referred to elsewhere in the bishop’s register.
