MORE, Robert I.

Nothing is known of this MP for certain,but he was quite likely of the same family as John More of Dartmouth who was to sit in Parliament for the same borough in 1427 and for Dartmouth and Totnes in 1435.He was possibly the Robert atte More whose wife, Joan, wid. of Richard Lyf, made her will on 30 Jan. 1406, asking to be buried in St. Mary Major’s church, Exeter (Exeter City RO, misc. docs. 51/1/3/8).
