HAMILTON, Sir Charles, 2nd Bt. (1767-1849), of Iping, nr. Midhurst, Suss.

When his cousin J. J. Hamilton succeeded to the earldom of Abercorn, Charles Hamilton replaced him at St. Germans, a stop-gap until the impending dissolution of Parliament. He did not sit again during our period.

He died 14 Sept. 1849.
