LEICESTER, Sir Peter, 4th Bt. (1732-70), of Tabley, Cheshire

At the by-election of 1767 Leicester was returned unopposed. In 1768 he contested Preston on the corporation interest in opposition to that of Lord Strange. He was returned but unseated by the House of Commons.

He died 12 Feb. 1770.
