Returned by Granby for Scarborough, Manners strictly adhered in the House to his father’s line: in the three divisions on Wilkes before Granby’s resignation, 3 Feb., 15 Apr., and 8 May 1769, he voted with Administration; on the two after Granby had gone into opposition, 9 and 25 Jan. 1770, with them. In three divisions after Granby’s death he did not vote. There is no record of his having spoken in the House. He died June 1772.
