NOEL, William (1695-1762), of Bloomsbury Sq., London

In 1754 Noel was returned unopposed for West Looe as an Administration candidate. No speech or vote by him was reported during this Parliament. He vacated his seat on becoming a judge. Noel was described by Horace Walpole as ‘a pompous man, of little solidity’.Mems. Geo. II, iii. 118. He died 8 Dec. 1762.
