HUNGERFORD, John (c.1560-1636), of Cadnam, Wilts.

Of a minor branch of the family, Hungerford was returned four times at Wootton Bassett through his own local standing. In 1593 he may have attended a cloth committee to which the burgesses for Wootton Bassett were appointed (15 Mar.). He left little mark on the records in this period.
