BELL, Ralph (d.1733), of Sowerby, Thirsk, Yorks.

A Whig country gentleman, Bell was returned for Thirsk on the Frankland interest, voting for the septennial bill. He vacated his seat by accepting a customs post in 1717, which he held till his death, 3 Nov. 1733.
