ELFORD, Jonathan (1684-1755), of Bickham, Devon.

Returned as a Tory in 1715, Elford voted against the Administration in every recorded division. His name was sent to the Pretender as a Jacobite supporter in 1721.Stuart mss 65/16. He did not stand again. He died 10 Dec. 1755.
