HARPUR, Sir Henry, 5th Bt. (?1708-48), of Calke Abbey, Derbys.

Harpur contested Derbyshire unsuccessfully in 1734. He did not stand again until 1744 when he was returned for Worcester as a Tory, voting against the Government. Soon after his unopposed return for Tamworth in 1747 he fell ill,Hartington to Devonshire, 17 June 1747, Devonshire mss. dying 7 June 1748.
